SOIRÉE DE VIENNE 2026
Finalists’ Dinner at the Historic Inn of Mozart and Beethoven

All finalists are warmly invited to conclude the competition with a shared dinner at the historic Griechenbeisl, one of Vienna’s most traditional restaurants. A common table has been reserved for the Vienna Piano Forum, most likely in the Music Room. A menu featuring Viennese specialties will be offered at €38 per person.

The Griechenbeisl is among the oldest inns in Vienna and has been documented since 1447. Over the centuries it has served as a meeting place for artists, scholars, and public figures.

The house is associated with names such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Mark Twain. The restaurant itself also lists Luciano Pavarotti and Johnny Cash among its famous guests, while historical tradition additionally mentions figures such as Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms, Richard Wagner, Johann Strauss II, Egon Schiele, and Oskar Kokoschka.

An evening together in a place where Vienna’s musical and cultural history remains vividly alive.

November 20, 2026 at 6:00 PM: Registration: Participation is reserved for finalists and their accompanying guests. Information on how to register will be sent to the finalists by email.
