PARTICIPANT
Music students and graduates whose degree was awarded no more than two years ago. Ages 20-35. All nationalities.
WOELFL PRIZE
Every participant has the opportunity to apply for the Woelfl Prize. To do so, a piece from the required repertoire must be included in the final round program. The sheet music will be provided free of charge.
Woelfl is considered a composer of the Viennese Classical period and can replace the classical compulsory piece in rounds 1 and 2.
AWARD CEREMONY
The award ceremony will take place immediately following the final round in the Historic Ehrbar Hall.
ROUND 1
Video pre-selection. 10-12 minutes, performed from memory, slow movement/work from the Viennese Classical period and free program. See regulations for more information.

1st prize: €2000
2nd prize: €1000
3rd prize: €500
Woelfl prize: €1000

Consultation session for all finalists (10 min)
Soirée de Vienne tickets for prize winner1-3 (sponsored by Musikforum Wien-West)
ROUND 2
Final round in person in Vienna. 20 minutes, performed from memory. One fast-paced movement/work from the Viennese Classical period and a free program.
